Welcome to Jade Studio, a home based floral design studio specialising in gifts and events. By accepting a quote, paying a deposit, or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

QUOTES

Following an initial consultation, Jade Studio will provide a written quote outlining the proposed design, quantities, and pricing. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Dates and orders are not held until a booking is confirmed. Quotes are based on the details provided at the time of enquiry and may be revised if those details change.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

Your booking and date is confirmed once:

  • the quote has been accepted in writing (email/dm)

  • these Terms & Conditions have been agreed to, and

  • the required deposit (or full payment, for smaller orders) has been received

For orders under $300 (e.g. an individual bouquet/arrangement), full payment is required at the time of booking.

For larger orders and events, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking. A second invoice will be sent a week prior to the event day to finalise full payment.

Until payment is received, Jade Studio reserves the right to book other events on the same date

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER

Any changes to your order (design, quantities, delivery details) must be requested in writing via email/dm.

We ask for at least 2 weeks notice for changes where possible. Last minute changes may not be able to be accommodated due to flower sourcing and preparation timelines.

The total order value cannot be reduced once booking is confirmed. Increases may be accommodated depending on availability.

CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations must be made in writing via email/dm.

For individual bouquet or arrangement orders under $300, full payment is non-refundable as each arrangement is made to order with time, effort, and care.

For larger event orders, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly, therefore:

  • the initial 50% deposit is strictly non-refundable as it secures your event date and covers time and cost spent on planning and sourcing materials

  • Once the remaining balance has been paid, we can no longer offer a full refund for last minute cancellations.

RESCHEDULING

Written notice via email/dm must also be provided for rescheduling as soon as possible, ideally at least 1 month before the original date.

Rescheduling is subject to availability. If we are unable to accommodate the new date, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and the deposit will remain non-refundable.

Where we can accommodate the change, your deposit will transfer to the new date and a revised quote will be issued if needed.

SEASONAL AVAILABILITY & SUBSTITUTIONS

Flowers and foliage are natural, seasonal products and specific varieties, colours, or stems cannot always be guaranteed.

Jade Studio reserves the right to substitute flowers or foliage with alternatives of equal or greater value, while keeping to the agreed colour palette and overall style.

Refunds won't be given for minor variations in flower type or shade due to seasonal availability.

VASES & PROPS

All vases, vessels and props remain the property of Jade Studio. They're yours to use for your event, and we'll arrange a collection day with you afterwards. You're also welcome to return them to our South Melbourne studio at no cost.

Please look after them while they're with you. If anything is lost or damaged, a replacement fee may apply.

DELIVERY

Delivery is free within the Melbourne CBD when no setup is needed. If your order requires setup, an additional fee may apply, even within the CBD. Delivery fees apply outside the CBD, depending on the location.

It's the client's responsibility to provide accurate delivery details, including address, access instructions and timing. Jade Studio isn't liable for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Jade studio may photograph completed arrangements and installations for portfolio and marketing purposes (including our website, Instagram, and Pinterest).

Where photos are taken by your own photographer, we may request permission to use a selection for promotional purposes, with credit given where applicable.
